My attitude towards producing an artist’s music stems from a decades-old passion for recording. From forming a teen garage guitar-band in England; through a major record label deal with island records working with a-list producers; through years solo singer/songwriter performances demo-ing with low budgets and high standards; to producing independent artists CD’s, I was always (and still am) fascinated by the process of capturing emotive music on tape. During my formative years, I grew to appreciate that the recordings that best stood the test of time were not those that were necessarily the “best produced,” but those that were best written: So, my mantra is: Always the song first - Always.

Alternative music and artist production is where my heart lies, and I encourage any artist reading this to submit material to me. If it’s something I feel I can refine and raise the bar for, I’m all about rolling my sleeves up and making a bold first move. If its something I am less sure that I am the right person for, I will certainly be honest and constructive in my feedback, and offer composition, edit and production ideas if that is something you would want.
